facepalm is appropriate here.

With so many reviewers taking the easy way out and giving every big game very high scores, it's nice to see people like Jim Sterling speaking his mind regardless of the consequences, even if I don't agree with his opinion.

I was just reading over his response, and some of those attacks on him make me feel embarrased. Our review system is truly a pathetic joke. Opinion has taken a back seat to appeasement, and it'll probably never change

well if your job is to review a game you should finish it that's what your getting paid to do. Not half ass at something. Kinda stupid for someone to not do his job to the fullest of his ability.

That's not what he's paid to do.  He's paid to "Play a game enough to feel it gives you enough information to review the game.'

As per destructoids review rules.

People would love me as a reviewer though... even some of the games I've disliked the most i've beaten. 

Then again,  they probably wouldn't because while I see the good in every game, I see the bad in ever game as well. 

wow, he gave my 2 favorite games of the past year 4's. this is why reviews suck. they are inconsistent and purely biased for the most part.

This is one of his most anticipated games. Actually it is highly anticipated all around the office at Destructoid.

I hope that translates into a great score.

I also hope it gets bonus points for being $39.99.

It should.  I know people like to argue otherwise... but do we really hold up downloadable games to retail game standards?
