I haven't played either game, but I am sure that the top shot of the fourth comparison is a Forza track.

It's clear that you, BHR-3 can't tell the difference, especially because you don't even recognize the GT logo.

no i knew the diffrence in all of them i had even had the original link that showed all the anwseres i just thought that if i got em wrong the thread would turn out diffrent than if i got em right

intresting to note all the forza 3s have a blurrier background

mostly considering there are so many better pictures available

at least it indicates in favor of which game the selection is biased

Not even worth it comparing pics...whenever Gran Turismo 5 finds its worthy match, then it'll be time for comparison. Forza 3 it is not. Sorry.

I think that's Depth of Field.

imo sim fans will prefer 60fps, great online features and great physics over better graphics

it was understood that gt5 had better screenshots since years now, i would have prefered another criteria than that in this vs.

Please don't tell me you're trying to imply that FM3 does the mentioned features better than GT5.

it's pretty obvious i do think so, if you have elements proving otherwise feel free to share

GT5: Prologue ran at 60 frames per second. Safe to assume it'll be the same case with GT5.

GT5 will be the first game in the Gran Turismo franchise to include both mechanical and external damage modeling, including a real-time deformation engine that will process model deformation according to the speed and angle of impact. Also, the impressions of the physics engine displayed from the GT: Time Trial academy have generally been positive.

The fact that you said "people will prefer 60 fps to better graphics" when GT5 will do just that discredits anything you have to say on the subject matter.

One of the GT5 pictures is from GT5:P.

So don't go shouting "bias" justbecause one game looks better than the other.

OT:
I think it's pretty obvious which ones are GT, and which ones are Forza GT's lighting and colours are so much better.

Really, in the first pictures the bottom one is GT5?

nope , the Top is a screen from GT Prolouge's drift video.

and you can tell by the shiny car.

Lol yeah I thought so, but with everyone else saying it was the bottom, I thought I was seeing things o.O

that doesnt say in the whole racing history but in the gran turismo franchise and i think forza already have thos features as i get fucked if i crash a car in forza 3 with sim damage on but its very funny and fun whne me and my friend choose land rover and crash it into each other. Btw i heard that forza has the most realistic physics in any racing game that has been released to date thats what i think my impression was from insidesimracing

My point wasn't who did it first. My point is who will do it better. And we can't decide that yet.

Thing is, he's talking as if GT5 already released. But him mentioning 60 fps shows he has no clue what he's talking about.

@Blue: During Forza's release that is. I don't think they mentioned anything about the GT: Academy Time Trial, which released afterwards.

huge game breaking differences....

its all kind of mute now though isnt it... by the time GT5 releases Forza 3 will be a year old.

This is something I wish people would understand. We're talking about huge differences in work time between the 2 titles, and I'm very sure all these years of work isn't going to be in vain for GT5.
