I would have expected better; however, with the way JRPGs have been performing this generation because of "shooter" obsessions, I think it actually did very good.

Agreed.  Just look at the sales of all the JRPGs this generation. FFXIII will easily sell 3-4 times more than the next best selling JRPG.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Well, if he's going by the VGZ numbers then he's right.  First week EU was ~423K.  Total EU was 1.40 million.  423K / 1.4m = 30%.
