This is hardly a surprise, this is why Bungie were given their independence from Microsoft and are dealt with kiddie gloves. It happens quite frequently in the industry.

If anyone would pick these guys up I'm willing to bet it's EA. They are already throwing everything they can out onto the market attempting at a COD killer. Why not get the guys who made COD?

Since IW left EA to go to Activision?

Most of Infinity Ward were already previously at EA as they originally made the Medal of Honor games (before they got crap and oversaturated). They left and formed Infinity Ward, became big and now this is happening. Seems a bit harsh, but history could repeat itself and they could move onto Ubisoft under a new name and build a new multi award winning franchise or something. I'm gonna wait before passing judgement. I need more info.

True. But Activision is the new EA. EA has improved a lot. Maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe they still hold a grudge? Who knows.

Hope so. Maybe then Mr. Kotick will learn to balance his thinking between a gamer's perspective and a business perspective.

They aren't, or at least shouldn't be mutually exclusive. It's the games industry, the customer's perspective should always been taken into account when doing business.
