Which one do you think will be better?

I loved Starcraft the first one, it was my very first RTS and I will always have great memories of it but I think there are better RTS out there now.I think it will be more successful though, because of it's name.

Supreme Commander is cool because you can use your engineers to help build structures, it has huge maps, and huge units. In Starcraft your SCV's can't help others build, only one to a sturcture. I do like collecting resources but I have started to like the mass collector in Supreme Commander more, because you don't have to build thousands of engineers to collect. Though you could build thousands to help build quickly. The experimental units are cool and I like how you have these huge units that you can control. Though the storyline is lacking.

Starcraft 2 seems like a graphical upgrade from the first and that's almost it with changes to units. I've been watching people play the beta and I'm dissapointed. Thor seems overpowered, I hope that's fixed. Also I liked it when you had to build it on the field, but they changed that. I do like the protoss still, I think i will always like them, I like the mothership. But I heard, and not sure if it is still the case, that they are splitting the game up into three parts. The first part that comes out is the Terran, the second is Protoss and the last is the Zerg. I really don't like that, I will probably wait until they are all released together and buy it. I still plan to get Starcraft 2 if they put them all together later. The storyline is better than Supreme Commander.

I am getting more and more dissapointed with C&C 4, it seems like they changed too much. I really liked 3, it was like Starcraft only better, imo. You still collected resources, but you ran out very fast. I loved the Scrin. I always like the alien races in these games. They have the best units I think. But 4 is removing the collecting with something, maybe similar to the mass collector in Supreme Commander, but only worse, I think, as you have to capture it and defend it. Also it looks like you don't build buildings, you only have your 3 basic bases to choose from and it builds everything for you, or the units that are associated with it. If I'm wrong let me know, but I don't like that at all. I like the story line. Love that real characters are in it, you feel more apart of it I think.

So on gameplay alone, I will go with Supreme commander though I'm upset Square Enix is publishing.

On more people playing and storyling. I'll pick StarCraft II.

Supreme Commander 2 comes out March 2 on PC and 16th for the 360. (Though there still isn't much on it's main site and I'm wondering if it will be delayed)

C&C 4 comes out March 16th.

Starcraft TBA still.

So I will be getting Supreme Commander 2 first, then Starcraft when all of them are released.

The only factor that would ever make me buy C&C4 is to see the end of the story, and nothing else. I'm happy that EA won't make anymore C&C games after that, because it's painful to see how low a franchise that rivaled Starcraft in terms of fun for me has fallen.

Supreme commander games are spiritual sequels to TA, and that makes them instantly awesome. I'll check out Supreme Commander 2, I like the concept in the first one, I love the huge epic battles, but I hated the shallow story and how similar the factions are.

Starcraft 2 is going to be the best RTS released in many years, but playing the beta, I think it feels a little too easy (like Macro skills and Micro skills doesn't matter as much anymore) and not as varied strategically. But that might change the more I play it.

I LOVE ICELAND!

In case you don't know it, C&C4 won't have LAN support and no dedicated servers.

Sales wise sc2

But who knows which will be the greatest until you play all of them.

Wow. I guess I have given EA more credit than they deserve after all.

For me, it'll be Starcraft II without a doubt. Between that and Civilization V, I'll have my strategy hands full for some time ahead!

C&C 4 and Starcraft II both day 1

SC2... unless the Activision side destroys it...

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Yeah I felt the same way.
