free advise, ive tried to give this to you before. Sony use you marketing team to help keep your executives and other persons who talk to the press on a consistent message, or barring that, advise them to not speak to them. maybe send out a weekly on talking points. include a list of things not to say. banish the ones who break this setup to archive management

Approximately 30 million can mean anywhere from 28-32 million

and since VGChartz collects sales data from ALL over the world I would say they are more accurate than you Troll(OP)



2010 Hardware Sales Predictions

Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.

PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.

Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!

Its takes a lot more then that to make a PS3 fan melt down. Being around this site in 2007 was enough to make anyone melt. If PS fans lived through that then this aint shit so lol at first 4 posts

Lol If that is true then VGChartz is extremly off since always. because that would mean that the gap would STILL be 8 Million. And that would mean that Sony didnt sold more after slim.
The PS3 Slim would have had literally NO effect. Or it would mean that the Gap was OVER 10 Million Before Slim launch. Or it would mean that approximatly 30 Mln =/= 30 Mln.

So if this is true the numbers were extremly off all the time. Also every report and stuff just dont seem right then.

Vgchartz has CONFIRMED numbers for Japan and USA also for parts of Europe like UK Germany france italy Spain and so on. I know just one thing for sure Sony shipped 33.5 Million until 31/12/2009.

And there are shortages in US and parts of UK. And there will be even more shortages because the demand is 20% higher then expected. This shows me that the Stock cant be that big. I still think PS3 is slightly undertracked by 500-750k.

Sooner or later I will see the truth there is absolutly no point in discussing it it will just go in circles.

If Sony has not shipped Ps3s until now between end of december there are just 2 Millions on shelfs which is not that much but if Sony shipped some in January and February then there would be 4Mln+ on shelfs and that is not possible. Next shipmen numbers are going to be very interesting.
