Correct sales
Wii - 9.3 million
360 - 11.6 million

That should have to be corrected.

9.3m - shipped for this financial year.

And that 11.6m is just wrong - probably from one of the last sets of qrt/ly statements from MS. Definitely not current - a quick look at the NPD figures, will show its WAYYY off. 

64k is for the week, total. Reports were about 40k 40Gig PS3s sold - remainder were other models.

100k US - not quite.

And other is sitting at around 75k.

The current VG weekly total is just shy of 200k - about right you would think. Next week gonna be real interesting!

I think it's quite clear.

 Actually the author of that article stated the shipment of Wii and Xbox 360 until 30 June 2007 ( and not 31 Septmeber 2007 ).

As of 31 September 2007 the worldwide shipements of MS and Nintendo console are :

Xbox 360 - 13.4 Million

Wii - 13.2 Million 

Are the numbers going to be changed? If they are ps3 is at 5.8 m Then next week would be the 6 million touch earlier than I expected.

Considering NPD had PS3 selling less than 25k/week the whole 30-40k sold already isn't correct. Maybe for the whole of the Americas they were just above 30k, but if they mean US only then those numbers are clearly not sold to customers.

SSJ12, that Japanese IGN number seem to be the Famitsu numbers, and they only speak of a total of 56k PS3 units sold. So I have no idea where you got the about 75k units in Japan from, but they're definitely not mentioned in the IGN article.

I am still amazed how any thread insinuating that the PS3 is actually selling well is met with the first reply trying to debunk it or belittle it. Where is the anti-Sony (or anti-Wii or anti-360) banhammer for this site?
