"just because playstation is so famous here in middle-east that everyone speaks about buying one."The previous PS1 and PS2 were making phenomenal sales here as well. Other consoles that did compete was N64 and Gamecube to some extent. XB was non-event here, until 360 changed everything.

Will be getting one this year for GOWIII, then even though I dont have time to play them all I will buy Uncharted 1 & 2, Infamous, LBP etc....... Too many good exclusives to ignore!

I had had a PS2 and the PS3's specs and BD player interested the tech-whore side of me. The games turned out to be pretty awesome too and kept me in the pack even though I've had a couple PS3s break on me

2 reasons...MGS4 and FF13 when it was still believed to be exclusive.

I bought it because it feels like the next GameCube even more than the Wii. It has more in common with Nintendo's older consoles than the Wii does and that's what I wanted.

After playing it today I want to kick out the Wii.. Fu** off Nintendo
