America is the biggest market even though sony have japan and europe. They cannot compete with 360.

Europe belongs to Nintendo. Just check the Wii/DS sales.

If you are only talking about ps3 vs xbox then yes, sony is stronger in japan/europe...

I'm itchy for software sales now. I want to see if PS2 Guitar Hero picks up a little ground the way PS2 Madden did. And the 360 version might have already topped a million copies this week if it stays in the top five (which it should).

Im trying to make it a playstation vs xbox sales wise. The ps3 is selling extreemly well in both europe and recently japan, but it turns out that you can compete with america.

@bengaBenga, leo-J has a rare medical condition that causes him to see all wii/ds products and games, as books on cd as read by gilbert godfree and fran drescher. this does cause the ocasional problem when he buys one and listens to it, laughing while everyone else in the room hears nothing. they just sit and wonder why he has 6 copies of resident evil 4 for the wii , and no wii to play it on

Whoa, those pre-Galaxy sales for the Wii are incredible. I assume the Wii will sell out next week when Galaxy emerges, so it will be interesting to see how many Wiis Nintendo can supply.

GH3 for the 360 should easily break a million copies this week. It's been printing money for Activision.

Well in that case it's going to be an interesting battle. I think if 360 keeps performing over 150.000 a week in the States it's going to be really tough for the PS3 to catch-up.

I'm interested in this battle as well as I'm still trying to decide to go Wii60 or PSWii.
The current games make me lean towards 360 but I had a really great time with my PS2 last gen and I don't know if I can miss FF.
