What you think should RE be as what it is now or go back to its origins.

definatly and the same with Silent Hill please...i want japanese developers for it again...no Hollywood style "oh the main character is so strong"-Silent Hill!

i don 't think it has forgotten its roots RE5 isn 't that scary game like 4 but still it is awesome and i think the next (6) WILL BE LIKE 4

I'd actually like some more RE4-styled games. RE5 is not what I want, though.

Not sure if I'd like it to return to it's survival horror roots, though. Maybe.

I'm more surprised that someone put no!! probably a kid who never grew up with the original resident evils and doesn't have a clue, res4 and 5 were good games, just they shouldn't have been the main story, it should have been a spin off

Problem is people liked the action direction of RE4

And lets face it. Action >>>>>>>Horror in sales

And with the sales of these games i don't Capcom will go back to the old RE :(

nah they should split the series (again) and make one horror series and one action/co-op series.

Maybe half action/half horror. They did the right thing cutting the puzzles, making the bad guys faster, and changing the controls. They messed up by making it a 3rd person sci-fi shooter with no horror.

Make it scary. Make it fun. Since Dead Space 2 is going to be "Uncharted 2: Modern Warfare", maybe Res Evil 6 can be Dead Space? We'll see what the DLC content for RE5 looks like. Maybe it'll be what we're looking for..........
