What's more important to you the HD vs. Wii battle or the PS3 vs. X360 battle.

Here's how both are going:

HD: 57.45 million

Wii: 53.97 million

Difference: 3.48 million

X360: 32.42 million

PS3: 25.03 million

Difference: 7.39

To me I'm more interested in the PS3 vs. X360 battle, and it seems like HD is going to win over Wii because of the Slim.

You're more intereseted in the HD battle that has a 7.4 million gap because you think the HD consoles will win over Wii with their 3.5 million gap.

Anyway.. I'm not entirely interested in either any more.. It's not going to effect anything anyway, I want Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid, Zelda Wii and some more new original IP's from Nintendo on Wii and I know I'll get them. I also want quality first party efforts and all the major third party efforts on PS3 and I know that I'll get them.

Wii is still getting shafted by third parties and awesome Nintendo titles and PS3 are still getting major exclusives and all the third party games and sales from here on out aren't gonna change either of them.

Both are interesting.

PS3 vs X360

I cannot accept a monopolistic, money-grabbing, dirty marketing scheming, creativity killing corporation going far in this industry.

Anything you can throw at Sony for their past misdeeds (and there's a lot to throw indeed), they are, for example, one of the few companies actually letting go of franchises in order to concentrate on new ones and renew gamer interest.

As long as a) the HD consoles are winning over the Wii, or b) the Wii gets some more titles I'm interested in, I'm happy with the HD consoles being in first place, and despite the Wii pricecut, I think the PS360 will remain in front.

Both are interesting, but I'm not massively behind one or the other.

The titles I prefer probably lean to HD but that is due to my PC orientation as well. I wouldn't say I'm a graphics whore, but I like first person hybrid titles more than anything (Dues Ex, System Shock 2, Bioshock, etc) and a certain level of graphical fidelity clearly makes them more immersive.

But, I have my Wii too, love it for games like SMG, Mario Kart, etc. as well.

Hmm I think I am more interested in 360 vs PS3 for RPG. 360 is winning for now, but with Demon Souls and other great games on the way, ps3 might just have the edge.

I bet we have more threads on VGChartz that have to do with HD vs. Wii than PS3 vs. 360.

To answer the question myself, it's conditional which one interests me more. Sometimes it's fun to watch Wii flirt with 50%. Other times it's more fun to watch Sony and Microsoft slug it out for 2nd place and HD supremacy.

Nope ever since the PS3 Slim came out that bascially put an end to the HD vs Wii battle, once the Wii levels off from the price cut then it'll definitely be HD beating Wii every week.

Now the X360 vs. PS3 is more interesting to me because the PS3 is over 7 million behind the X360 and yet I believe it'll be able to come back and surpass the X360.
