I'm currently in the middle of playing Metal Gear Solid 4, I just got into the 4th Act and I've noticed how incredible the graphics are in this game. So I know MGS4 won best graphics for 2008 and everything so I wanted to know which has better graphics MGS4 or Killzone 2 because I never played Killzone 2 yet so I find it hard to believe it's a whole lot better then MGS4.

So the question is does Killzone 2 have better graphics then MGS4?, please no spoilers (give a warning if your going to show spoilers) because I have yet to play Killzone 2 and I'm about half done of MGS4.

Edit: Don't know how I did that, I checked the title twice I must be very tired. Suppose to be "Metal Gear Solid 4 OR Killzone 2 - Which has better graphics?"

I think it's Killzone 2, but MGS4 is way more beautiful.

Do cutscenes count?

metal gear solid 4 for me.

KZ2 has much better effects and lighting engine.all that without that dreaded install.

so i say killzone 2.

but facial animation on MGS4 is much better than KZ2.

I wouldn't even list MGS4 in my "best console graphics" list (However the character models are truly amazing)
Killzone 2 is the obvious choice

I'd say that MGS4 has better graphics only because killzone 2 has no color other than grey, orange, and blue. If it was made with more colorful and inventive environments it would definitely have much better graphics. For Killzone 3, if it is to come becuase i haven't completely finished the campaign (its just too bad), I want much better environments.

Killzone 2. Nothing I've seen on consoles touches it.

MGS4 is much more aesthetically pleasing to me, though.
