My Panasonic 4k Blu-ray player. I used to watch discs on my PS3 almost exclusively even after I had access to other players/PS4, but it just runs too hot (energy hog) and too loud for it to be practical now. Plus, the red laser went out on it so it does not play DVDs anymore. But I loved the BD remote for the PS3, the sleep timer settings, etc.
PS3 for dvd / blu-ray. Series X or PS5 for 4K blu-ray. (Reason, PS3 is directly connected to my HDMI 1.4 amp, PS5/Series X to TV sacrificing lossless sound for 4K)
My PS5, mostly. I could use older consoles, but I don't want to burn out their drives since I can't just go to the store and buy another.
Dedicated player for 4k discs. Can’t remember the model number but I think it is Panasonic. When it comes to 4K, dedicated players are much better than consoles, especially if you have a good sound system.
It's whatever the latest PlayStation in my living room is in. Right now it's PS5, but I don't think I've watched any DVDs/Blu-rays on it yet. I don't really watch a lot of movies/series.
I mainly use a dedicated Panasonic 4K Blu-ray player. From time to time I do use my Xbox One or PS5, mostly because it is easier for me to connect a headset to those, and sometimes I watch a movie when my girlfriend is sleeping or it is night and I don’t want to disturb my neighbours.
Jesus, it must be what, like 15 years when I last watched something on a disc. Playstation has been my media center for a wahile now, so if I had use for discs, I would have gotten the PS5 with a disc drive.
PS5 for region A/1 Blurays and DVDs. Xbox One for region B/2. Both for 4Ks since they are region free.
