It's 10am on the 1st of January here in Aus, can confirm the sun does indeed rise again in 2026.

What are people's new years resolutions? Mine is to beat depression, which has hit me hard recently.

You can do it! When i whad younger i whas verry depressed and now  when i think about it i relealize i wasted a lot of time feeling so bad.

Cheers; I've been through it before too in 2011-2016, thought it would last forever but finally managed to beat it when I found a new job that I love and found a new community from which I gained some good friends. Hopefully it doesn't take as long this time!

Happy new year! Mine started pretty well when I was doing fireworks outside, and a stranger came to ask if she could ignite one too since she's never done that. I let her, and she seemed really happy about it, so that made be feel very nice too. I don't see a lot of such enthusiasm in my life, so it was a nice moment.

Think I have the same one, or at least to break the streak of yearly traumatic events I've been having for 3 years now. I have faith this year will be better, not necessarily great or even good but at least better.
