I pretty much learned (to understand) English from watching the BBC Saturday and Sunday morning cartoons from age 6. 80s cartoons rock!

I have to pick Nickelodeon for Avatar: The Last Airbender and later The Legend of Korra as I became an adult. First 3 seasons of SpongeBob were pretty goated for a goofy cartoon as well.
Cartoon Network had a lot to enjoy like Star Wars: Clone Wars but I didn't catch that until DVD.
Disney had some cool stuff, but I really loved the reruns of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which stopped around 2005 or so.
I watched a lot of the 2003 TMNT show as a kid but didn't watch the whole classic series until I was almost an adult.

Every single one of these is the reason I hate modern cartoons now.

Oh, I also forgot about those:

- Doug
- Disney cartoons
- Rupert
- Little Bear

I watched those when I was VERY young.

Tom and Jerry
Looney Tunes
DuckTales
He-Man
ThunderCats
The Flintstones
Popeye the Sailor Man
Smurfs
Transformers
Chip and Dale
Other superhero cartoons occasionally

+ Several anime.

Inspector Gadget
Danger Mouse
Ren & Stimpy
The Simpsons

Those are the ones I remember the most. Ive always preferred live action movies and TV shows since I was very young.
