Quite interesting, I didn't expect this strong launch from The Last of Us. Console sales are more or less where expected, Switch sales are expected to drop significantly this year with rumors of a successor being released

It's worth baring in mind the £10 upgrade path. Without it it would have certainly sold less. Though we don't have info on exactly how many copies were full purchases or how many were upgrades.

PS5 didn't have it's it's finally in stock boost this year and Switch is getting old. So no shocking results. I expect the PS5 fall much more in February due to Hogwarts Legacy, it was a huge release in 2023 and February 2024 doesn't have an equivalent.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Switch needs to die. foolish not to wait for switch 2 with the tech being so out dated and over priced.

Do we have any indication of whether Prince of Persia is doing well in general, saleswise?

Well then, we're looking at about 15million fools this fiscal year.

We are poor over here, lol.

FIFA really are idiots for letting the deal with EA collapse without having a back-up plan in the works. They should've been in talks with another game company and been able to at least announce a FIFA branded game to compete with EA's soccer game. As it is, EA has the established franchise, all the contracts with the teams/players, they have at least one, maybe even two years to get their audience on board with the name change.

On another note, neat to see the physical edition of Mario Wonder on the charts and even ahead of the physical + digital editions of Spiderman 2, despite the shrinking Switch sales.

I know some people think these charts have significance in the grand scheme of things but the UK has more or less shrinked as a market since eons.

Also, if the 10£ upgrade path for TLOU II then it'd prolly explains the performance of the remaster cuz it's just otherwise weird how it could be more popular than almost full fledged remake of the first game.

Why is it foolish?
