40 min. sounds like it could be a beefy Direct. Although I'm mostly sure that half of it will cover updates on upcoming holiday titles on October-November.

A more complete look into the new Peach game.

It was Mario vs Donkey Kong, so I dont care about that. Thats just a filler title.

I mean I wouldn't insult the Mario vs DK franchise since on the direction they could go with it. 

Doing something similar to the one on Gameboy would actually be quite sick. 

The more puzzle oriented games on GBA,DS,3DS ... less so

Its a filler title. It will be like the ones on GBA, DS and 3DS. The mini Marios will be in it.

Despite the fact that this will likely be a beefy direct, there's little chance we're getting Switch 2 revealed. Even if it somehow is coming out in the first half of 2024, I think Nintendo still wants to wait longer so they can get a lot of Switch sales this holiday season. If Switch 2 is already unveiled before the big holiday shopping season, it will decrease Switch hardware sales.
The reveals will likely be smaller titles, I'm pretty sure. The bigger titles will have updates on their content.



Lifetime Sales Predictions 

Switch: 151 million (was 73, then 96, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 67 million (was 60 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)
