According to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella on His Tweeter. Many Switch owner in US has PS4 or Xbox One on their possession, and Switch is not a substitution for home consoles, except it can coexist with PS4 and Xbox One and compliment each other. And many PS4 gamers and Xbox gamers buy Switch as their supplement instead substitution. The same trending also going to happen when PS5 and Xbox launched next year, Switch sales will still be big.

Yes, and the Chicago Bears won't win a playoff game in calendar year 2020.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

This is pretty obvious yet we still have a bunch of people who think otherwise.

Yes, but at least the Chicago Bears fans have come to their senses by now.

He is obviously right. Not only that in the past history Sony and MS consoles barely had any effect on Nintendo console sales, both of their next gen offerings launch too late in the year to have any effect on Switch sales performance.

Yeah, they don't seem to have a notable effect on each other, and I don't think that will change much in the next few years either. Games may be even more difficult to port to Switch, but that hasn't slowed it down yet, and it won't for the next few years either imo. The more direct competition will probably be between Sony and MS again as they share a lot of similar games.

2020 predictions: NSW 25m, PS5 6m, XSX 4.5m, PS4 9m, XB1 3m

In December 2019 i predicted 21m Switch, but that was before COVID, obvius increased my predictions.

In other news, the release of the latest model Lamborghini won't have a major effect on the sales of bicycles.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

I was literally just about to dump all of my bicycle stocks, thank you.

You mean two expensive consoles of a different generation with few non cross gen games will not affect the sales of a very sucessful console during it's peak sales? No shit, Sherlock. By the time they are able to affect the switch, it will be on it's way out anyway.
