I prefer the American one because it looks like freedom and freedom don't bleed.

Also has a cute charm to it. The EU looks like I'm just browsing on PSN for a new game. Not bad though.

NA looks cute, has charm.
EU looks like something I can put together in middle school by just putting all the logos together on a single pic.

NA, like the artstyle, much more charm than the bunch of logos.

NA one for sure, it's easily the more stylish cover. EU one is more informative about what games are included, but let's be real, very few people in this day and age go into a retail store to buy a game without already knowing what game they're going to buy, so an informative cover isn't really a necessity in this day and age.

Europe, easily, I don't like the art style used for the North American box. The European on has actual art associated with the games releases, I assume that this collection is straight ports and not remakes, if so then using original artwork makes much more sense to me.

You bring up a good subject, however, I think the reasoning behind the difference in covers is that European gamers (UK etc) might have been more into these titles for a longer time than NA gamers (with the NES dominating the rest of the 80s). The titles might have good name recognition, hence why they are laid out like that on the EU box.

The american one. The european one is just one or two steps above DS "Konami Greatest Hits" levels of lazy.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I hate the art style on the North American one, so at least the European one is based on the graphics of the games themselves, so nothing to complain about there. I wonder what the Japanese one will look like?

Artstyle in the NA one isn't my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the charm and recognize the effort that went into designing that cover.

EU just looks like an average image cropped together in photoshop.
