Of Nintendo's current gen home console, and current gen handheld, which do you prefer, and why?

Wii U because the experiences are just more comfortable and fleshed out to me. Wind Waker HD > ALBW, SM3DW > SM3DL, DKCTF > DKCR3D, MK8 > MK7, SSBU > SSB3DS and then you have games that aren't even rivaled like Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, and that's not even counting all the great stuff it's getting this year. Plus the Wii U has more features and controller options.

But I still love my 3DS.

Wii U, solely because of Super Smash Bros.

Damn, that's a hard one... I tend to prefer gaming on home consoles to handhelds (the only inherent benefit for the latter is portability, but i tend to read rather than game when i'm away from home), but the 3DS currently has a much longer list of titles that appeal to me. I'd probably pick the 3DS right now because of that, but i'll likely change my mind once titles like ZeldaU and XCX are out.

As of right now, the 3ds cause the 3ds has plenty more games in its library but I am playing the wiiU more currently of course cause of the fap worthy ssb

3DS, because games.

3DS for now. It has the more diverse library of quality games at the moment, and while the Wii U may have better graphics the 3DS seems fine enough for a portable device. As the Wii U library expands over the next few years I could definitely see Wii U surpassing 3DS for me.

Nintendo 3DS...

Yeah Wii U got all those games you guys listed above... But the Wii U has no answer to: Fire Emblem: Awakening, Bravely Default, Pokémon X/Y and AlphaSaphhire/OmegaRuby (hell, no Pokémon game at all), Persona Q, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Super Street Fighter IV, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Virtues Last Reward. Besides Wind Waker, the 3DS got better looking Remakes than games available on the VC (Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64 3D, even Super Mario 64 DS and the soon to be released Majora's Mask).

The Ratio of good newly released games outnumber the Wii U's by like double... Graphics aren't a priority for me as long as the game is fun.

The Wii U has some great games but I do prefer my 3DS due to the wider library of games to play. Just the sheer variety of amazing titles out now and coming soon have helped keep me hooked on my 3DS since I got it around 2 years ago.
