At this point, the 3DS has the best library of any current gen system.

The Wii U is a Nintendo machine. The 3DS is a Pokemon machine.

There are far more games on the Wii U that I'm interested in than on the 3DS. And even if there are some (like MM3D, KI: U) , the home console always gets a priority from me.

3DS, mainly due to its RPGs. Also StreetPass.

Wii U. Primarily because the big gun Nintendo games are simply better and once you go HD, it's very hard to go back.

I'm not sure, Wii U I feel has the better individual titles but 3DS has a much larger selection of great games.

For me it's essentially 2 excellent Wii U games versus about 8-10 really solid 3DS games. I'll call a draw at this point

Wii U because I like home console more. But if the 3DS could play games well on a TV without looking horrible, I would say 3DS.

If I had to choose, Wii U. I always enjoyed home console experiences more.

the flailing sales of the wii u should be used as an excuse for ninty to partner up with sega and make dreamcast 2. (in my dreams)

Usually I prefer home consoles, but right now partly due to it's age, 3DS the best system of the 8th Gen. It just has more games than anything else. More excellent ones. Once WiiU gets Zelda U though, the scale will probably tip. WiiU at this point just needs more.
