Even though it is very strange that the free verion hasn´t been made available yet, I don´t think Sony has a hidden agenda. This is probably a case of a developer that wasn´t competent enough in managing online multiplayer, which caused this whole mess. I am sure Sony executives are looking at firing a bunch of people right now.

Today I saw a die hard Sony fan complaining about weather updates and other features. They really screwed it. Too much focus on graphics produced a below average game.

well, people who bought the game full price surely deserve something valuable as excuse. like 30$/€ for psn or a year of ps plus for free.
i hope this happens. only paid 20€ for the game.
