Smash Bros. 3DS Glitch Causing Users to be Banned for 136 Years

Reddit user seekladoom has discovered a glitch in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS that bans players from the game for 136 years. However, there is a way to prevent this glitch from happening. Some of the things you can do are:

• Try not to target a single player in an online match
• Use 1v1 until a patch is released
• Don’t use online in general
• Don’t quit mid-match

Rumors have been circulating saying removing/reinserting the game or SD card will stop the glitch, however this is not the case. For the time being, those affected by this glitch will have to blame Nintendo.

Nintendo has yet to comment on this situation, so just try to survive until this issue is fixed. Go outside or something.

So.. How do we know this is a glitch, and not some kind of actual cheater? Unless the glitch here is that the ban lasts for 136 years.
