I really like Final Fantasy X, but it's still a poor man's Final Fantasy XIII to me.

You are kidding right? FFX is so much better than FFXIII its not even funny. Better lore, better characters, better story, better combat system. FFXIII is also the only FF game where Summons are completely not worth using like....ever.

FFX, yes. FFX-2, no. Besides the combat, I hated it with a passion. A popstar, really? Come on, that's preposterous. From High priest/summoner to a popstar? Yeh, that is a completely logical transition. And you know what the game really needed? a team rocket ripoff. Holy shit, i hate those 3 morons.

The thing is, she's not a pop star.  Not only was it not Yuna on stage, but the one who looked like Yuna was the one who was using her garmet grid.   She also wasn't a pop star.

Ah, my bad then, I stand corrected. I still don't like yuna as a character. I'm planning to give my sis my voucher for FFX-2 for her vita since she loved the game (go firgure), ill ask her to fill me in on the story then.

Opinion.

I prefer the summons in FFXIII, they were an expensive last resort to prevent death. They didn't render the rest of the party useless and you couldn't abuse them to plough through all the hard bosses in the latter half of the game.

What's with the hate on X-2?

The story was atrocious.

God I cant stand Yuna and Tidus DX

Not even the best game/games in the series.

Maybe FFX not sure about FFX-2, even though I enjoyed playing it as well. ^^

Yuna is a very good female char by JRPG standards. Honelstly the only female chars I have ever liked better in an RPG is Marle from Chrono Trigger (could have a lot to do with Chrono Trigger being the 1st true RPG I ever played) Garnett(the male lead was my least fav FF main ever in IX) from FFIX was solid. IMO Aeris from 7 was totally overrated.

I have not played FF X for over 10+ years. I need to get it for the PS3.....

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I personally think they got the summons just right in FF12 and went a step to far in nerfing them for 13.

I loved Final Fantasy X (not so much with X-2) and am glad it's getting recognition now. When it came out it was getting FF XIII levels of hate from most "core gamers".
