Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has now reached the 10 million unit milestone, Microsoft has announced.

"Congrats to Mojang, 4J Studios, and Microsoft Studios, and a huge thank you to the 10 million of you who have built, explored, and fought through the night on Xbox 360," wrote Xbox social media director Jeff Rubenstein.

As a thank you to all the loyal builders, a one day only 50 per cent discount on all skin and texture packs (excluding Mashup packs) will take place on Saturday, December 14:

I'm with puggsly on this. My son loves it and keeps trying to get me to play but I get bored so quickly. What is the point of the game?



Yeah I love watching Achievement Hunter Lets Plays in Minecraft but I honestly don't like it. Its great to see it so successful on "The dying unsupported console" though. Hopefully Halo 4 can hit that 10m next!.



Love this game. And, as soon as I noticed the new texture packs I was back to playing. My favorite is still the better quality graphics one. I wish they would make another texture with even more quality visuals than that one is.

Oh and that Skyrim world is the sweetest thing to visit which is not mentioned in OP along with the MAss Effect pack.
