I'm okay with that. They could become like an imprint of Nintendo (Nintendo Platinum) that specializes in more mature content like how DC Comics had Vertigo or how Marvel had Marvel Knights. Same great quality with more mature themes!

Wouldn't surprise me if it happens one bit. It would be quite nice, actually. A company with the ideas of Platinum with the experience and budget of Nintendo could produce some great games indeed.

Nintendo needs more first party developers, considering how long it is taking them to make HD games. They should buy Platinum and have them make a new Star Fox, since Kamiya wants to.
