Wii U owners, do you plan to buy any third party games this year?

It's no secret third parties aren't exactly throwing their full support behind Wii U. It's nothing new either, they haven't done that with a Nintendo home console since the SNES.

That said, all is not lost; from August on, Wii U's getting a second wave of software from third parties, such as Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed 4, Batman Arkham Origins, Rayman Legends, and Splinter Cell Blacklist. Now that the Wii U userbase is no longer a newborn one, these titles will hopefully perform better than their predecessors.

But what if they don't? Could that be the final straw that sees 3rd parties abandon the platform altogether?

If you're a Wii U owner and you want third party support, vote with your wallet, or you can't complain when the support stops.

Honestly, I expect AC4, Watch Dogs, and Batman to all eventually break a million on the Wii U. And that still won't be enough to appease third parties.

I'm content though. Third parties actually pretended or even tried to give the Wii U a real chance, unlike the Wii. Worst case scenario, we end up with a Wii-like library plus a dozen decent third party games from 2012 and 2013.

Love and tolerate.

I hope not... It's pathetic the support it's getting apart from a couple of companies.

Well, I don't personally care anything about Assassin's Creed, but Rayman and Watch Dogs are sure buys for me on WiiU with Batman and Splinter Cell strong possibilities.

Unfortunately I don't think that most people will embrace WiiU for 3rd party multiplats.  I do, however, believe that 3rd party exclusives for WiiU will be where the console flourishes in that area.

I don't really think I'll bother with any 3rd party games for the Wii U after all. They had one year to show enough games to make it worth building a game library for the system, but it didn't happen. Now most of the games coming for it will have nicer versions on the PS4, so I don't really see the point.

But if this is your only console you should be buying some of these games really. I can't see why you wouldn't.

I eventually plan to get a Wii U, however Im mainly getting it for those Nintendo games. Im one of those many that like my multiplats on my Pc. However, I am interested in Watch Dogs on the Wii U because of the gamepad and the hacking possibilities it has on it that can be used in game. If it is up to par with the pc/ps4/xbone versions, then I am getting it on Wii U.

all of then in Wii U

ill buy AC4, Watch dogs and rayman legends for wii u.

As much as people buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games the Wii U needs more 3rd party support. But most of all it needs some decent mainstream marketing!!!!!

people expecting these games to sell 1+ million are delusional, they move (from) 2 (to) 4 million in consoles with a 60+ million install base, how could they move half that (1 to 2 millions) in a 'market' 80% smaller? - If someone knows what's behind this idea please explain it to me
