Forums - Gaming - Lets find out once and for all, Vgchartz vote on your favorite of the Big 3!

Which of the Big 3 do you support the most?

Microsoft 88 15.80%

Sony 220 39.50%

Nintendo 207 37.16%

PC (not a console but still) 42 7.54%

Total:557

There's been a ton of discussion lately on forum bias, which fanbase is most represented, which fanbase is underrepresented,  who has the most fans etc.

So let's find out.

Who is your favorite console maker and why? Answer and vote truthfully,  no flaming allowed.  It'll be interesting to see the results and get a better picture of the fanbase here on Vgchartz.

Also in the comments explain the top 3 reasons why you support your preferred system.  Here is an example from me

While I own and like all current gen consoles my preferred console of choice has been the Xbox 360 for 3 reasons.

1. Friends list and Xbox Live - I just have waaaaay more friends on the 360. Early on this gen the 360 had a big advantage in the online space with things like parties and cross game chat. Many if my friends went with Xbox so I thus started the majority of my online play there which led to me buying most games in general on 360.

2. Achievements - Again earlier in the console cycle the Xbox was the only console to offer a rewards system. I enjoy earning and comparing achievements with my friends anr while I enjoy Trophies as well since they came so much later Im less attatched to them.

3. Halo - Simply put this is and has been my favorite franchise since Halo CE launched

I'm always most hyped about Sony hardware and IPs, but literally (money spent and entertainment value) it's been the PC by far in 2012, and will be until the other next gen consoles arrive.

The poll results are going to be hilarious. Expect to see a lot of fans voting for the opposite brand just to make it seem like they're in the minority. So don't be surprised if Microsoft wins.

I made a thread about this a few months ago:

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=146915

Here were my findings from the poll...

Which of the Big 4 do you primarily support?

Nintendo 171 49.42%

Microsoft 37 10.69%

Apple 14 4.05%

Sony 124 35.84%

Total: 346

It'll be interesting to see how the demographic has changed in the past few months.. :->

Polls dont work on this. People are untruthful scumbags and lurkers also vote.

Its pretty obvious that the Sony and Nintendo fanbases here are about even.

Hmm if anything I suspect MS support has gone up a little bit.  Ive noticed more activity from MS fans since Halo 4 launched

For me it goes like this.

Microsoft (360&pc) > sony >>>>> sega > nintendo

there's a heated Ninty/Sony rivalry here. Don't think there's a huge difference in the the size of each fanbase, but sony fans are a little more defensive so nintendo will win the poll

The problem with this poll, is that Sony fans will vote for Nintendo, and vice versa.

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

Yeah I realize that.  Im more interested in the discussion in the thread well hopefully get as thats a better representation than the poll.  I also asked why people prefer their system of choice so hopefully we can get a decent look at the community
