Ellen Page has reinvented the gaming industry.

One word "AMAZING!"

You can even see the guys veins as he struggles to breathe.. jesus.

"the AI in The Last of Us is so good that--until you see the same demo played through a second time and realize that characters' actions aren't scripted--it's hard to believe that it's AI at all. Joel and Ellie reference their surroundings as they converse believably, enemies behave differently depending on the weapon you're carrying and whether or not they outnumber you, and Ellie is quick to assist you in the event that you run out of ammo and subsequently find yourself on the receiving end of a beating"

From Gamespot

CGI you should quote all of these, i mean holy fuck.

Also jump to last page and see even more there. EVERYONE is impressed! ND REALLY have a lot of pressure at the moment.

Naznatips has written a glowing preview of the game based on a behind closed doors screening:

http://www.gamrreview.com/preview/89032/the-last-of-us-redefines-the-survival-genre/

"Survival-horror has been a common genre in gaming for many years, but no game has ever shown such an intense and powerful focus of that first word. Survival is our first instinct, and watching The Last of Us immediately pulled me into a desperate, edge-of-my-seat disposition. This is a game I hadn’t seen before, and between the gorgeous graphics, dynamic AI, visceral, heavy combat, and powerful storytelling the feel of the game is wholly unique. If you’re looking for the biggest surprise of the show, look no further. This isn’t just another zombie game, or another Uncharted game. The Last of Us is the survival game I never knew I wanted, but now can hardly wait for. "

Excellent interview with David Cage.

Here's one of the bits that excites me the most:

CVG: At the moment there seems to be the same sort of button prompts as Heavy Rain...

Cage: "This has the same interface at the moment. That may still change before the end, (but) this is not the same gameplay. In Heavy Rain, where Jayden was chased in the market, for example, you were just evading the cops. He was running on his own, he was choosing his gun on his own, you were just choosing prompts. Here, when she's in the forest, you are controlling Jodie. When she runs on the slope, when she runs in the forest, when she runs in the train, wherever she is. You're in control all the time and the prompts are used much more like in God of War".

i'm going to read what i want to read in that statement and say ...

MOVE COMPATIBLE CONFIRMED!!!

You must really know html well! After a while my OP will not load if I add to much stuff to it.

Looks wonderful like usual!

Makes me want to trade in my Wii and 360 for a PS3 and this game. At this point does Sony even need a nextgen? Cant get much better than this, can it?

everything can improve a lot except maybe faces which i don't see improving much anymore compared to beyond faces. in my opinion they should even try to make them a little bit less real, i like the last of us faces much more, they look still like faces of a game which i prefer for games.

as example battlefield for pc looks better in any way but the faces, which look fantastic in battlefiled 3, don't look better than beyond faces.

I hope that in the harder diificulties in TLoU, Ellie doesn't help you out much. I don't like the idea of someone saving me whenever I make a stupid decision.

You really question someone who follows the game like I do? O.o

One word: research. The scenarios will be dynamic, and depending on the extent of each action, Ellie won't always be able to "bail you out".

I know you know, that's why I asked.

Also, that's not what etr
