You don't need the Circle Pad Pro for Resident Evil Revelations, if anything it's detrimental to the experience imo. Without the Circle Pad Pro you still have a little awkwardness to the controls that the Resident Evil franchise needs and has had since the very first game.

Download the demo, try it out and you'll see what I mean. :oD

Being able to download and play demos on the 3DS is a good sign for what we're going to see on the Nintendo Network for the U when it's released, and they certainly do their jobs too...I've decided to buy Dead or Alive Dimensions after trying out the demo. Great stuff!

And if you're anything like me then walk around with it in Sleep Mode because you'll find the StreetPass Quest and puzzle pieces that you collect very addictive.

I decided to get a Vita, haven't had a handheld since GBA. Wasnt interested in either the DS or PSP. How are the 3DS features and stuff, apps, store, and whatnot. I'm thinking about getting my wife one since she is still using an original DS.

Mario Kart is the best multiplayer game and Resident Evil: Revelations is the best 3rd party game thus far. Those along with Mario 3D Land are the best new games the 3DS has to offer. Also be sure to check out the various remakes and eShop titles.

3DS is a major step up from the original DS.  It has a decent amount of apps (music creating app (Rhythm Core Alpha), Swapnote (although doesn't have the DSiWare Flipnote), and a few other apps.  While there isn't a ton of apps there are a ton of VC, 3DSWare, DSiWare titles that you can download from the eShop.  The FC is just enter the system FC in once and done (just like other systems now) so you don't have to add each other for each game anymore.  Library is building and already has at least 5 must own games on it already with a ton coming out soon.

I think it's safe to say that the 3DS is a great video system and that Nintendo got it right this time. Great games, great momentum and awesome functions. I'm having a great fun!
