Resident Evil 6 has been officially announced by Capcom.

• On 360, PS3, and a later released PC version. (Possibly WiiU?)
• Produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the man who produced Resident Evil 4.
• Single Player and Co-op.
• Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy are playable characters.

Geez.. how many Resident Evils do we get this year? looks great.. don't like the CoD style switching protaganist

Every RE game has had multiple playable characters in some capacity, though, be it separate campaigns like the original, additional sidestories like 4, swapping at the press of a button like Zero, or straight-up coop like 5.  I don't mind the method they're going with for this one, to be honest.

@Andrespetmonkey: Where does it say coop anywhere?  Because it looks like Leon is in America while Chris is in another country somewhere.

Still need to play 0-3 (and buy 0 and 3 lol) but after playing 5, I'm kinda not having the hype since Shinji Mikami is not involved.

The game looks sweet but still very action oriented. I am also glad to see the return of the regular T-virus zombies. I like ganados just as much but i did miss my T-virus zombies. Also glad to see Chris stop taking steroids and got a bit of a slim down.

Looking forward to more info on it.
