Whoah. The jump to 4k must really eat data, someone above said the devs are being lazy but it can't be that cause Cyberpunk and Hitman are half of what they are on PS5 so if they were being lazy there they def are not here. I was looking at launch switch file sizes to switch 2 and the jump is PS3 file sizes straight up to to mid range 9th gen file sizes, the games that hit the middle ground. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if file sizes get very close to 100gb on the Switch 2 as we see 150gb + games on PS5. Now combine that with digital being cheaper... Probably gonna need a 512gb card. The one good thing about it is the Nintendo evergreen games are generally small (I can't find data on MKW) and at least the first party stuff will be on physical carts. I'm flummoxed by trying to figure out what is a comfortable ammount of storage for digital gamers on this system, I keep going around in circles. 256gb express card should be fine for those with God their Internet, It would probably be best to be safe and get a 512gb express card and triple storage if you have decent Internet where swapping games would be a pain, probably the most realistic route for the majority and a 1tb card if your Internet is shit and you fear deleting large games.

I have really good Internet but I still don't wanna be deleting 150gb files on PS5 and there are game I can never delete that I get the urge to play like Sekiro and I have about 500gb of stuff like that. I wouldn't have nearly as much Switch games and the ones I do are tiny, like Steam World dig. Argh, this question has no clearly definable answer until you have a few months with the system to see. It bugs me.
