Well, Wikipedia currently lists 73 million votes for Trump (probably will be more once all is counted). You will not win them back by demonizing them. And yes, you are not in a presidential campaign. But all of what is said online contributes to an overall picture of the left.
Just look at it from another angle: your views of Trump and MAGA is also influenced by stupid takes you see on the internet of his fans. And people he attacked probably will not vote for him or people aligned to him for the foreseeable future.
This goes both ways. More polarization is not going to help you win in the future.
