Nice can't go wrong with the switch 2. I loved PSVR but doesn't seem like enough software is there to make it worth while. Also horror games seem to be the main driver of VR and I can't even handle horror games without VR. I might die if I tried them with VR. |
It's a difficult decision, the PSVR2 community is set on selling it as the best thing in gaming, they are such good sale people 😆. Quest 3 looks functional and great for fitness but the battery sucks and Switch 2 will have great games for sure but damn, where's it at already.
Oh and RE7 in PSVR was rough as fuck, I'm not really effected by horror games on a flat screen but that had me pulling off the headset half hyper ventalting, shouting out loud at times, hiding with my full body and shivering in stealth bits with insane adrinaline and the game was so good it still pulled you back in after getting close to a panic attack. Once you take the headset off, realise you aren't getting attacked by a mutated granny and your safe it's dandy. It's not like normal panic attacks but more like adrenaline boost and way easier to deal with but awe man, it's so worth getting over the fear cause the immersion is like nothing else. You'll be acting like your actually in the situation and forget about the world completely. Really is the most immersed you can ever be in a piece of media, like it literally makes your brain believe you are in another world and that doesn't happen in VR games that don't use horror to keep you locked in.
