Oh for sure better than Dark Souls 2 but that bar isn't very high and aye, sometimes it's nice to have linearity esspecially after the confusing mess of a map that Shadow of the Erd tree had. I'd actually almost count this as a plus. How did you find the world? Many say it is generic but I find it to be very lightly creepy in a good way, the puppet movements and atmosphere in the locations are definitely up there and it's beautiful in parts, like the Opera house.
