#40 is correct, the other two are wrong. And I haven't even thought on it, but my hint for 38 indeed also fits Mistwalker and the Last Story. I guess it would not stop there, many people who left their original studios (or these were closed) remade their original games in their new ventures under a new name.

42: I've never played it myself, but the last two hints makes me thing of Grounded. 

That is indeed correct! And you should play it, it is a fun game. Although I guess no Trails game. :)
