Okay, that might be the case. Each side finds their own gripes with the game. I know about the bear sex thing, so that kind of sounded like the modern agenda of normalizing extreme sexual behavior, but maybe it makes more sense in the context of the game. I also heard there is a companion that originally required you to either start a gay relationship with him, or be a total jerk to him, there was no third option. I think that was patched later, but a strange thing nonetheless.

To have a gay relationship with him means you have to choose the same sex anyways. You are also free in choosing your sex.
