Duke Nukem 3D was one of the games I loved very much back in the day. I was never a big fan of the original Doom (although excellent music), because the textures and environments looked not great. But Duke Nukem fixed that. It had environments that were recognizable. It also was a big technical jump, with bridges, shrinking, aiming up and down, destructable environments (very limited compared to today, but still this was a big improvement against the non-destructable environs of Doom) and voice acting. And the gampelay - well, it took the good stuff of Doom and made it better. So yeah, Duke was a great game.

Recently the game released on Switch. I put up one review:

Looks like this version is a pretty decent rerelease for all the fans of the original (and maybe some who want to know more about how the shooter genre developed).

So, how do you like it?
