I wouldn't necessarily call it a Google moneyhat because:

a) Croteam is basically an indie studio which is still so stubborn to use their own engine.

b) Looking at amount of enemies shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaqlJAovzXE it looks like this game can beat the record of franchise for amount of enemies being on screen at specific time

So, considering these two factors, I can see Croteam struggling to make it run on Jaguar cores without compromises to game design.

On the other hand, we have Serious Sam Collection which was rumoured to come to PS4/XB1 through some rating board leaks but it suddenly only appeared on Stadia instead.

Even if current gen consoles can't run it due to Jaguar (which I agree is a distinct possibility), they could have announced that it will release at a later date on Xbox Series and PS5. The fact that they didn't suggests to me that Google probably paid for timed exclusivity. The fact that the Serious Sam Collection released on Stadia 2 months ago and still hasn't hit consoles also suggests a Google moneyhat deal.

When in it's history the series ever considered consoles first. Croteam probably has no experience at console development and would pay a porting company if the main release made enough money to do that.
