The main game feels fine, moving with the stick, buttons for action or attack. The menu is a bit awkward though, you move a pointer with the stick, but not free but between defined positions (and it is not clear first wwhich position I can move the pointer to).
As the stuff I found so far gets autoequipped though, the menu has more informational value. And in the main game I don't even know how touch-controls would work. I assume you touch the point you want toi go to and touch enemies to hit them? That would feel much less intuitive than the classic controls it has now. But on Switch touch-controls aren't even implemented. I tried just out, if I can use the touch-screen if undocked, but it does nothing.
