These numbers are somewhat insane. Basically, we get a rough idea of how interested the Japanese are in upcoming games. The ratio of points to actual preorders ranges from a few hundred to a thousand depending on the console. Sony figures are traditionally higher than actual preorders and Nintendo's numbers are lower. The 360 makes an appearance every so often, just to remind us it's still out in Japan.
