I'm a lot more excited for some PS3 exclusive releases next year, so I'd have to go with the PS3.

I'm incredibly excited about White Knight Chronicles, ModNation Racers, God of War 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Final Fantasy XIV and especially The Last Guardian.

On the 360 front, I'm less excited overall due to the lack of JRPGs in comparison. But I really, really can't wait to play Mass Effect 2 (though it's likely I'll be getting it for PC). There are others I'm somewhat excited for, but not so much as the others, it would seem. Plus there always seem to be some great XBLA games that I'm sure I'll love.

I gotta say... I'm really looking forward to all of the systems' releases next year. Mostly the PC. I cannot wait to play Starcraft 2.

Can't blame Microsoft for Japans bias to the 360. Thats the reason their JRPG's will be low next year. Besides 360 owners got screwed with PS3 owners getting better versions of the timed exclusive JRPG's the 360 got. Microsoft has it in the WRPG arena and those are stronger these days anyway. I understand your point though.

Yeah, you know me. I'm not huge on console WRPGs (I'm more into games like Diablo, Torchlight and Champions of Norath). Mass Effect has made me a believer though and I should be starting Dragon Age soon.

I must admit, I haven't been keeping an eye out for them, but what does the 360 have coming in terms of WRPGs this coming year? I'm aware of Fable 3, but I'm not the biggest fan of the series.

Well Fable 3 and Mass Effect 2 are the two main WRPG's next year. Alpha Protocol is another hugely anticipated WRPG which will be multiplat by Obsidian (The guys who helped Bioware make KOTOR). No doubt WRPG's will be incredibly strong next year, but I cannot wait to see what FF has to offer on the PS3. As far as JRPG's they've run stagnant to me. They've been rehashing too much crap, but WKC might be another JRPG buy. :)

Oh yeah. I remember checking the trailer/webpage a few months back. It looks really good. It supposedly has stealth-like gameplay if I remember correctly.

Yeah, it's a mix of some James bond/ Bourne Supremacy action themes and gameplay of Mass Effect, Splinter Cell and it's own twist. It doesn't have the greatest graphics but I love the look. Then again, in RPG's (especially WRPG's) it doesn't matter anyway because the gameplay nine times out of ten overshadows the graphics.

PS3 for me. List of games I am getting next year include.

3D Dot Game Heroes
Trinity Universe
White Knight Chronicles
Mod Nation Racers
God of War III

Everything else I want is mostly multiplatform.

360 does have Fable III though which I really want. Fable II disappointed me a bit but I am sure Fable III will more than make up for that.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

For me its...

PS3:
Mod Nation Racers
God of War 3
Demon's Souls
GT5 (maybe)

360:'
Alan Wake
Mass Effect 2 (maybe)

PS3 owners are also getting niche JRPGs like Atelier Rorona, Ar Tonelico 3, The Last Rebellion, Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll, Trinity Universe, and 3D Dot Heroes.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Alan Wake is the only Xbox game I'm sure I'll buy.

Never finished Mass Effect, so unless 2 fixes all the things that kept me from enjoying the experience enough to see the entire story, there's no reason why I'd want more of the same. Most likely end up getting the PC version if so.

I'm also picking up Natal, although I can potentially see it ending up permanently attached to one of my PCs instead as a UI.

Heavy Rain is a definite for the PS3, God of War III and GT5 are also obvious buys. Last Guardian if it meets expectations. FFXIII Versus if it brings something to the table that FFXVIII doesn't.

2009 has been a really thin year for the 360 for me personally. As of right now, 2010 is looking like a repeat of 2009.

I'm not sure if there is anything I want on 360 next year. I'm probably going to be selling it soon, actually. It depends on if Bayonetta is fixed for the PS3 version or not...

For PS3 exclusive wise (no multiplat)...

WKC
SO4 International
Yakuza 3
God of War III
Gran Turismo 5
Rorona Atelier
Tales of Vesperia English (unconfirmed, own the JPN version)
Ar Tonelico

... that's off the top of my head.

Last Guardian and FF Versus XIII I think will be in 2011.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

the PS3 will mostly definitely be getting the most money/love from me

PS3:
God of War 3
Final Fantsy XIII
Star Ocean 4
Ar tenolico 3
White Knight Chronicles
Bayonetta
Dante's Inferno
Heavy Rain(possibly)
M.A.G.(possibly)

360:
ME2

i'm a ps fan but last year i liked my 360 better because my coworkers were always online playing cod. since they've all been banned, i'm back together with the ps3 again (my live membership expired, anyway).

i really want there to be a reason for me to play the 360 again, but based on the lists that other's have posted i'm leaning towards the ps3... gt5, mod nation racers, yakuza 3 and a bunch jrpgs that i'll never have enough time to finish.

i do hope natal is cool though.
