I don't understand the apparent anger with which you're posting.  It seems there is a fairly substantial divide between the current sales conditions and the ones you're describing. 

Many of my most recent threads have actually concerned rather impressive Sony exclusives such as inFAmous and Valkyria Chronicles.  By all means rant and rave, but misappropriating my posting history is rather rude.

I am concerned with your thought process, you say PS3 is doing "decently" (300,000) and yet you say the 360 is doing "fine" (145,000)?  What color is the sky in your world, because the PS3 which is the same price as the 360 just outsold both the wii and the 360?

at this point, we really wont see what the settled down number are until after the holidays as the usually holiday ramp up begins in just a few more weeks.

I just want you to admit what sony did back in '07 is the exact same thing MS just did. Then it can be done.

You know it would not "kill" you to say something nice about the PS3.  With statements like this I wonder do even 360 enthusiates wonder whether you believe half the crap you say.  "Fantastic number from all consoles and cannot wait to see what next weeks numbers will be like."  see it is not that hard.

At some point in 2007 Sony did indeed do what Microsoft have done.  And again in 2008 I believe. 

But that has nothing to do with my argument that pertained to an entirely different set of circumstances in which their were in effect, two price cuts on the entry price, albeit one of them interim.
