Everyone has been saying things from price, to games, to Home, to marketing....but i disagree...

It's simple.

It's color is not desirable. Nobody likes black anymore. White is he most popular color in America right now, as evidenced by cothing, car,appliance, and electronic sales.

I think its more to do with the pricing and the fact that most of the games people wanted for the PS3 are also on the Xbox 360..

LOLLLL .....and I dont know what you're talking about, there's more black than white if you go by clothing, car,appliance, and electronic sales.

Clothes - Tux, pants, hoodies (white gets dirty easily so there's not as much)

Car - still see more black than white cars just lookin out the window on a freeway/black is more luxurious looking

Appliance & electronics - ...open up like a bestbuy flyer and start counting. Goodluck finding white HDTV & speaker systems. Only thing white is anything ipod, xbox360, wii related. Stoves and fridges use to be white but thats old, and black and stainless steel is the new thing.

Black looks way better.
