Do PS3-only owners really care about this?
I mean it's a B-level RPG from Square. It's not exactly a Final Fantasy they're missing out on.

I just want to try it out, it looked interesting from gameplay saw and my sucks so bad it has a heartattack whenever i load up the demo so...
game sucked, who cares. No lose.
I heard it had a terrific battle system and artstyle... so... as a PS3 only console owner.. yes.
If it comes down to that... I'll play it on PC.

The fallacy was his assertion that the Xbox 360 is an FPS only system, I was simply making a point. |
I mean, you made your point. I'm not one for fighting bad logic with more bad logic.

You sound so sure...can I borrow your crystal ball? and crack your head open with it? If Square brings the quality (no Last Renmant anemic tries) they can move millions on the PS3, just in Japan alone where lesser titles like White Knight Chronicles can do over 400K. Imagine a AAA quality title from SE in Japan: Final Fantasy Versus XIII, FFXIII, or any other quality project besides the FFs, over a million guaranteed.
So, as of now, the PS3 has 0 Square Enix games (FFVII and such don't count)? That's a bit ridiculous. There's simply no rationale to it, even if you want to go for the western market, I think that not releasing a SINGLE game for the PS3 isn't helping the company at all. There's a difference between simply becoming closer with a different company (Nintendo->Sony), to simply shunning a company (Sony->Microsoft).
SE doesn't need to love, nor owe Sony anything, but it almost seems like they're acting out of malice than business sense at this point.
Even opting to not release something like Crystal Defenders outside of Japan makes no sense...I wish things were clearer with some companies sometimes so everyone will know what the fuzz is going on.

It's more of Square-Enix being a bitch to the PS3 is whats so annoying, and then all of a sudden this happens?
Even though the game isn't that great it would be nice to have a decent JRPG on the PS3 (I can't wait another year for Final Fantasy XII!, thank god for Level-5)
From a personal stand point, if ff13 inexplicably turn out to be a disappointment, I think I'll call time on my Square Enix love seems that they already called time on their ps3 love which is a shame really as they never gave it any.
