Im not sure how much the jump will be, but wount it look wierd if you go from 1080 HD and your connection drops and you all of a sudden have to settle for a lesser quality? Im still not sure i get how this is going, so i might be way off. Just correct me if so.

Yes, there's always that risk if u have an unstable connection, that the movie will look 'weird' when it suddenly drops to a much worse quality.

Does anybody know where the server I just connected to is?

It probably won't be in Germany (my country) so is there a chance of a even better quality, when the servers are up and running in my country?

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

There are ways to see where your http request is going.  I can not recall any of them at the moment.  But you could google it.  You will be able to see all of the different IP/URL addresses that are hit on the requests way to the final destination.  Then you could probably google on the address to see where it is located.

Yes, it's actually in Lederhosen. Not far from where you live at all.

Thanks for sharing OP. Very cool.

The dam movies BETTER all cost the same, what if i pay for 1080P HD and i only get 480i quality.

I don't know anything about this stuff, but on my computer those three numbers are consistently at 24 fps, 2040 kbps, and 2.04M.

So if my 360 shares the same connection can I look forward to similar quality video? Because on my computer this looks amazing.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

this technologies has been used by "France 2" in France in order to watch Roland garros on a computer: it works really fine

Yes likely better. Because this should be the prototype. Plus more servers will be available when it's on Live.
