I recently ran a poll on my site asking gamers if they think Killzone 2 has what it takes to win the 'First Person Shooter of the Year'  award for the year 2009, of the 338 people that took their time to participate in the poll, 62% of them are confident Killzone 2 will win the grand prize. 



It looks gamers worldwide are confident in Guerrilla Games blockbuster offering, and who wouldn't be, the game looks fantastic, plays fantastic and the multi-player is fantastically addictive.

There were over a hundred voters that didn't think it will win, and this is very understandable considering we haven't seen all the FPS games to be released this year. However the results of the poll speak for themselves, gamers are confident that the PS3 exclusive shooter Killzone 2 can grab the prize for the best overall First Person Shooter of 2009.


Being a cricket fan is much simpler and more fun

LOL based on 338 votes, amazing, couple that with KZ2 being the first BIG FPS of the year and if the site/blog shows Sony bias it could attract more Sony fans and throw things even more out of wack.

I could have sworn there more than 338 gamers in the world...anyway Mordern Warfare has a chance to take the gold seeing as it comes from a bigger name/reputation than Killzone.

Considering there are a couple other "big" FPS games coming closer to Christmas time, I wouldn't hold my breath.

COD:MW2 will probably take the title, but Halo:ODST has a shot as well.
