Well, seems like Capcom is dealing with very harsh opinions about the game, but they're right. They're here for the moneyz, not charity

I am sorry people, but I am going to give a try to that game. It may not look as beautiful as the Xbox360 version (which honestly I never played just watched), but it looks like a fun action/adventure/shooter game. Besides it's from Capcom, what game on the wii had done with lack of quality?
Besides, if I don't like it I can always trade it. Like I did with Alone in the dark..except that I have the confidence that DR will be 1000 times better
You know capcom, advertising a game is not always a bad idea... And I think Zack and Wiki did a good profit. It just not possible to sell millions of it. Oh and I don't have any problem with ports, especilly from HD console. But for jesus' sake don't turn em into crap!!!
To be honest, I find it surprising (and commendable) that he'd be that frank (West ).
Though it does beg the question of why they didn't put the game on PS3, as well as Wii.
@kitchensink, maybe because the wii has a larger user base?
I admit that I prefered RE5 or SF4 on the wii. But maybe this is a test to see how well they can adapt a HD game in the SD Wii?

This. Also, Okami had to make money since it was a simple port with "Wii enhanced" controls that a few people bought.
Viewtiful Joe on the other hand I can understand not making much :(
It's just that simple.

Years from now, when we all look back on this generation, this is going to be one of the staple marks of being a Wii owner... At least for the first few years of the console.
They are just lazy and can't think of a new games for the Wii.
alfredofroylan said: Well yes...... To that end, some claim that the only reason we brought Dead Rising to the Wii was to make money... You're right, we've been caught: We're guilty of being a business. In fact, as a gamer, you should want a brand that you love to be successful, because that increases the chance that we'll make more games. The games business is filled with titles that people love that simply did not make money: Viewtiful Joe. Okami. Zack and Wiki. Capcom as a company has decided to embrace a path that brings our entertainment to as many people as possible. This is why we are, for the most part, following a multi-platform strategy (which has also riled up some folks on the Internet in the past). When Capcom creates a good game, shouldn't we try to let as many gamers experience the game as possible? This question is not talking about the quality of the game made, just whether or not the game SHOULD be made.
