So basically nothing will change from the way it is now (which is wrong, by the way), except that the 360 will be a slightly BETTER deal than it is now, and yet it'll be gone.

Here's my prediction:

o_hadji89 will not be around come August! I believe this simply because he really didn't show any thought in his post, other than what he desperately hopes for!

As i have said before this just my thought on what will happen, and not what I hope for I own a xbox 360 and ps3. But just think with the current trends and blu ray going strong, there is no incentive this is just my own analysis you dont have agree wth me, but there is no point is saying that i won't be around come august, very childish i must say!

Sorry, I don't usually do that, but owning owning two consoles doesn't mean a thing.  Hell, look up a poster called Crazzyman--he has a PS3 and a 360, but... *whew*... check out a couple of his posts.  And if you want to sound unbiased, you really shouldn't be titling your threads "xbox 360 will not be around come 2010!"  It should be prefaced with 'My Opinion', there should be no exclamation mark, and it should say 'What are your thoughts?' or 'Discuss.'

I'll edit my first post, though.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

The 360 failure rate has been lowered? I'd pay to see that link. Maybe for their latest hardware. Last I heard the failure rate of the original hardware was still going up. Everyone I know with a 360 has gone through multiples.

hmm this makes me want to open a new thread...but going back to this thread, what you are saying mr hadji is the worst case scenario for MS. The very worst case scenario and i don't think it would ever happen unless they chose to pull the plug because they want their next console coming out and wish to no longer support the 360.

you have to look at the past too. PS2 had a very high % rate when it came to lazers being burn out. In fact, where i had the one and just the one GC and xbox, I went through 3 PS2's. It didn't stop me or every other PS2 owner I knew in staying with the Sony brand.

So, who cares even if the failure rate is 25%. If the console is good and people value it, they will keep coming back for more.

Your argument or opinion is based on nothing much but your opinion and that i can respect. However, making such ludicrous assumptions doesn't make your opinions or theories worth while. Allow me to give you an analogy:

At the current rate of world disasters, wars and pollution; I believe the world will end in 2010 along with the 360.

^^my opinion and it is based on far better facts then yours but highly unlikely and unnecessary. If i was to ever make such a statement openly and i would be called a mad man ^^

*****please note, the above was just an analogy to help Mr hadji understand better. I'm not a mad man^^

If MS has a a brain and drops price every year, they will lose a hell lot of cash.

Think about that again for a minute.

Wow.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

they are making profits right now. there is no way they will make a new console while making profits

Courts care, especially if they are under the impression that a company might be selling defective products to the mass market, hence the warranty put in place by Microsoft to try to dodge any possible litigation.

The warranty, however, also could have served as a "BUYERS BEWARE," which too could have hurt Microsoft.

Of course it would be the latest hardware. You think they went to peoples homes and said "Let me put this new heatsink in your 360 and I'll be out of your hair"? The originals had a bad failure rate but they have came up with fixes in new hardware revisions.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
