I think that only applies to new games since many of Nintendo's first party games already have simplified Chinese translations ...

Unless the assets were literally ripped from BotW, no it's not. A visual style is not something that can be possessed by one singular entity.

After having looked at it a bit closer, it's not anywhere near a BotW clone ... 

Character switching 

Multiplayer/Online co-op 

No puzzles 

Statistical progression 

Equipment system

It's nearly nothing like BotW when we consider the above aspects and the different plot along with the settlement designs ...

I have to agree with the Nintendo fans here. Knock offs are okay if they atleast try to cover it up. This however is a copy and paste job.
Those saying BOTW copied other games, well atleast it changed it up and tried to be different in all ways.
Just my 2 cents.
